| Super Precise Linear Motion Accuracy
Reference face and four grooves are ground simultaneously by special TSUBAKI grinding machines.
Simple construction of slide unit.
High degree of straightness of tracks, enhancing final installation accuracy.
Equal Load Capacity in Four Directions
Because the steel balls recirculating between the rail track and the slide unit contact both surfaces at a 45° angle, the same dynamic load capacity can be applied bi-directionally in both axes. The TSUBAKI system is also a very stable structure for withstanding moment loads.
High Rigidity and High Moment Rigidity
The benefits of circular arc ball grooves are well established in the manufacture of precision ball screws. The circular shape provides ideal ball to ball groove contact giving great rigidity and that is why TSUBAKI has incorporated this design into their Linear Ball Way system.

- The precise geome try and the square configuration of the ball tracks is ideal for preloading and makes the system even more rigid.
- The well proportioned hole sizes and centers in the rail track result in the system being compact yet very robust when fitted.
- Various preloads are available depending upon the requirements for rigidity and load capacity. Preload is achieved by the selection of precisely graded ball diameter.
- The unique design provides the greatest possible distance between centers.
- Smoother Operation at Both High and Low Speeds
- Precision ground circular are ball grooves result in smoother ball circulation and reduced driving resistance.
- Unique TSUBAKI track design virtually eliminates differential slip or spin, even in the preloaded condition, and allows smoother operation for longer periods.
- The unique design of ball circulation unit permits stable, high speed travel

| Types of slide unit
TSUBAKI Precision Ball Ways are available in two different types. One is a tube recirculation system using return tubes and the other is an end cap recirculation system using end caps. With the tube type recirculation system, the ideal design enables it to be used for high speed applications. Compared with the end cap system, the width of the slide unit on the return tube system is somewhat larger. Depending upon the requirements of height, loads, mounting holes etc. the designer may choose from eight different models. |

Designation
|
| The following code numbers are used to identify the type of TSUBAKI Ball Ways.
When placing your order, please specify the numbers by referring to the following instructions.

|
Explanation of auxiliary symbols
- Non-standard rail track
- Non-standard slide unit
- Other non-standard specification
A: Jointed rail track:
- If the length of rail track required exceeds maximum
- available, precisely matched, individual lengths can be
- supplied for butting together. If the combination of
- individual lengths is unimportant and therefore not
- specified, please indicate suffix /A.
|
|
F: Plug for mounting holes on rail track:
- If plugs are necessary to avoid accumulation of dust,
- please indicate suffix /F
B: Special bellows:
- If bellows are required, please indicate suffix /B. In
- this case, tapped fixing holes will be provided on the
- slide unit.
